Singapore often referred to as the Lion City or the Little Red Dot, is a sovereign city-state in Southeast Asia, and the world’s only island city-state. It lies one degree (137 km) north of the equator, south of the southernmost tip of continental Asia and peninsular Malaysia, with Indonesia’s Riau Islands to the south.

Located in the centre of the country Abuja is the capital city of Nigeria. Built mainly in the 1980s it officially became Nigeria’s capital in 1991, replacing Lagos, which still remains the country’s most populated metropolis.
Abuja’s geography is defined by Aso Rock, a 400-meter monolith left by water erosion and the Presidential Complex, National Assembly, Supreme Court and much of the city extend to the south of this huge landmark. Abuja is known for being one of the few purpose-built capital cities in Africa as well as being one of the wealthiest and is served by Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport which can be easily reached from the centre of town.
